Intl. day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking

 Having been organized by District Administration  and Narcotics Control Department a discussion meeting on International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit  Trafficking 2016 was held today in the conference room of the collectorate building with Hemayet Hemayet Hossain, Deputy Director, Local Government Division in the chair.
The slogan “Say no to drug abuse for sustainable development”.
Parimol Shingha, Deputy Commissioner attened the meeting as chief guest while S M Mustafizur Rahman, Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police (Circle) and Shuvash Goldar, District Education Officer were present as special guests.
Administered by Noor-a-Alam, Nejarat Deputy Collector Aslam Ali, Inspector, Narcotics Control Department, Meherpur gave the welcome speech.
Among othes, Dr. Alok Kumar Das, Sadar Upazila Health and Family Planning Office,  Maynul Hasan, Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer, Bashir Ahmmed, District Commander of Freedom Fight Command Council, Rafiqul Alam, President, Consumers Association of Bangladesh (CAB), Researcher Ataur Rahman, General Secretary, Meherpur District Development Forum addressed the meeting.
