Good Daddy Campaign

 Organized by Good Neighbors Bangladesh, Meherpur Project Office a  campaign on Good Daddy-2016 was held in the afternoon on Wednesday (June 1) at Mujibnagar Government  Model Primary School premises with Akhil Barai, Project Manager of Community Development Project in the chair.

The slogan of the organization is “I will see the future of my daughter”.

Hemayet Uddin, Mujibnagar Upazila Nirbahi Officer attended the program as chief guest while Kazi Kamal Hossain, Officer-in-charge, Tajul Islam, Upzila Woman Affairs Officer, Ayub Hossain, Chairman, Bagwan UP of Mujibnagar Upazila and Rafiqul Alam, President, Meherpur District Development Form were present as special guests. 

Akhil Barai, Project Manager gave the welcome address.

Hemayet Uddin, Upazila Nirbahi Officer administered the oath to the guardians and their unmarried daughters  for not holding  marriage  before 18 years.  

A drama was staged by the members of Good Neighbors Sishu Poribar titled “No more child marriage”.

A large number of guardians along with their daughters attended the campaign.
