In order to make the Modern Meherpur under the spirit of freedom fight a new committee was formed today(14 Feb 2016) here. On the occasion a discussion meeting was held at Meherpur bus stand with eminent educationist Islam Ali Master in the chair. 

A cross section of people attended the meeting. Freelancer Ataur Rahman administered the meeting and it was addressed among others by journalists Rafiqul Alam, Kamaruzzaman Khan, Amirul Islam Oldam, Retired Army Welfare Sangstha President Cap. (Retd.) Abdul Malek, 

After discussion, a eleven members executive committee was formed of Meherpur District Development Forum where Rafiqul Alam and Researcher Ataur Rahman and Reporter G F Mamun Lucky made the President, Member Secretary and Finance Secretary respectively.
