DFO Opened & views exchange meeting held

 A views exchange meeting with the departmental officers on the occasion of opening ceremony of  newly constructed  District Fishery Office, Meherpur  today (Saturday) afternoon by the Secretary, Fisheries and Livestock Ministry.

Chaired by Joint Secretary and Deputy Commissioner, Mahmud Hossain a views exchange meeting with the departmental officers was held in the training room of district fishery office duly organized by district fishery department.

Dr. Selina Afroza, Secretary, Fisheries and Livestock Ministry was present as the chief guest while Moniruzzaman, Divisional Deputy Director of Fisheries department, Khulna was present as special guest. 

Before holding the meeting Dr. Selina Afroza, Secretary of Fisheries and Livestock Ministry formally inaugurated the newly constructed district fishery  office. 

It may be mentioned here that in the mean time a long crack found on  the front side  of newly constructed double story  district fishery office building. The construction work started on 8 January 2013 and duly completed on 7 November 2013 at a cost of nearly taka 96 lakhs. A crack also found in the accounts section of the building and colours already faded. More over some fittings in the wash rooms become unfit for use.

However, the secretary expressed his satisfaction seeing the building.
