Week long Tree
fair ends in Meherpur
The week long tree fair concluded on Wednesday afternoon here that was
inaugurated on 1 August 8, 2019 by the State Minister for Public
Administration Ministry Forhad Hossain,
MP at local Khamarbari premises.
Presided over
by Dr Akhtaruzzaman, Deputy Director(DD), Department of Agricultural
Extension(DAE) Ataul Gani, Deputy Commissioner (DC) attended the propram as
chief guest wihile Alhaj Golam Rasul, Chairman, District Council, Advocate
Earul Islam, Chairman, Sadar Upazila Porishod and Mahbub Alam Shanti,
President, District Krishok League were present as special guests.

Jafurullah, Forest Officer it was given welcome address by A K M Hasibul Hasan,
Additional Deputy Director of DAE. Among other nursery owner Hafez Shamsuzzaman
addressed the meeting. District administration, DAE and Social Forest
Department jointly organized the program. More than two hundred cross section
of people attended the program spontaneously. Later, the organizers gave the
crest to the successful nursery owners.
