Chaired by Rafiqul Alam, President, National Women Repression Prevention Forum(NWRPF), Meherpur district a-day long seminar on "Women’s  contribution, recognition and challenges in agriculture” was held on 11 March  at the district council auditorium duly organized jointly by Manob Unnayan Kendara(MUK) and Association For Land Reform and Development.

Alhaj Golam Rasul, Chiarman, Zilla Porishod attended the seminar as chief guest while Khairul Hasan, Deputy Director, Local Government Division, Shopon Kumar Khan, District Taining Officer of Department of Agricultural Extension,  Bashir Ahmmed, District Commander of Meherpur district command council, Woman leader Noorjahan and Asaduzzaman Selim, Executive Chief(EC), of MUK were present as special guests.
