MEHERPUR, Oct 25: A-half day long seminar on “Awareness on Consumers Rights” was held today in the
conference room of collectorate building
duly organized by district administration with Sheikh Farid Ahmed,
Additional Deputy Commissioner(ADM) in the chair.
Porimal Singha, Deputy Commissioner attended the seminar as
chief guest and formally inaugurated the seminar.
Among others Rafiqul Alam, President, Consumers Association
of Bangladesh (CAB), Ashkar Ali, Vice-President, Chamber of Commerce and
Industries, Akmal Hossain, District Bazaar Investigation Officer, Moshiur
Rahman, Sanitary Inspector spoke on the occasion.
Speakers discussed about the consumers rights and law that
enacted in the year 2009.
Government officials, businessmen, journalists attended the seminar.
