MEHERPUR, Sep 30: Having been organized by Manob Unnayan Kendra (MUK) a local NGO located at Amjhupi under sadar upazila of the district a committee formation meeting was held today at Gangni Upazila Porishod Auditorium with Rafiqul Alam, President, National Woman Repression Prevention Forum  of Meherpur district in the chair.

Arifuzzaman, Upazila Nirbahi Officer, Gangni attended the meeting as chief guest while educationist Sirajul Islam and Asaduzzaman Selim, Chief Executive of MUK were present as special guests.

Moderated by Murad Hossain, officer of MUK Fahima Khatun, Program Officer of the project gave welcome address. Prof. Mohibul Haque Mintu, Journalist Amirul Islam, Woman Leader Noorjahan among others spoke on the occasion.

Later, a-23 members Gangni  Upazila Taskforce Committee of National Woman Repression Prevention Forum was formed. Educationist Sirajul Islam and Asaduzzaman Selim have been made President and Member Secretary respectively.
