MEHERPUR, Sep 29: The district dwellers observed the International Rights to Know Information Day-2016 in a befitting manner today duly organized by district administration.

To mark the day a colourful rally led by Rashidul Mannaf Kabir , Additional Deputy Commissioner(ADC) was brought out in the town that paraded from Shilpokola Academy to Deputy Commissioner’s office premises.

On the occasion a discussion meeting was held in the conference room of the collectorate building with Porimal Singh, Deputy Commissioner in the chair. It can be mentioned here that a few officers of the district attended the meeting.

The discussion meeting was moderated by ADC(Gen) while Rama Nanda, Nejarot Deputy Collector(NDC) presented keynote on Right to Information Act through power point presentation. Among others, Khairul Hasan, ADC (Rev), Rustom Ali, District Information Officer, Rafiqul Alam, President, Meherpur District Development Forum, Roshid Hasan Khan Alo, Editor, Daily Meherpur, Mosharaf Hossain, President, NGO Forum  addressed the meeting.
