A two-day long Boul Samrat Lalon reminiscence festival ended in the evening of  23 March at Mayer Dan Shanti Ashrom, Chandbill, Amjhupi, Meherpur. Thousands of devotees were joined the congregation spontaneously.
Mayer Dan Shanti Ashrom organized the program in order to observe the 126th death anniversary of Fakir Lalon.
Earlier on 22 March evening a discussion meeting was held there with Borhanuddin Ahmmed Chunnu, General Secretary, Meherpur Sadar Upazila Awani League and former Chairman of Amjhupi Union Council in the chair.
Administered and welcomed by Rafiqul Alam, General Secretary, Mayer Dan Shanti Ashrom it was addressed among  others by Iqbal Bahar Chowdhury, Officer-in-charge of Meherpur Police Station, valiant freedom fighter Motiar Rahman, Professor Sayedur Rahman, Subuktogin Polash, Vice President, District Jubo League.
Associate Professor Abdullah Al Amin Dhumketo discussed on Lalon Fakir as chief discussant and Shashsawto Nippon, Teacher of a Secondary School also spoke on the occasion.
