Human chain formed protesting VC’s speeches

MEHERPUR,  APR 25: Meherpur District Development Forum (MDDF) organized a huge human chain in front of local Press Club protesting the distorted speeches delivered by sitting Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University Dr. A A M S Arifeen Siddique regarding the first capital of the country on 22 April at a meeting duly organized  by Chuadanga Zilla Porishod.
Mentionable,  Vice Chancellor recently visited Chuadanga where at a meeting on 22 April  organized by Zilla Porishod told that Chuadanga is the history recognized the  first capital of Bangladesh which is cleansing of distorting country’s  history.  Protesting his speeches MDDF organized a human chain today led by its President Rafiqul Alam.
Moderated by freelancer Ataur Rahman, General Secretary of MDDF it was addressed  among others by Bashir Ahmmed, District Commander, Freedom Fight District Command Council, Zane Alam, Principal, Oxford Kindergarten.  Written speeches of Journalist Saikat Rushdee sent from Canada that read out at the human chain.
Cross section of people including the students of different schools joined the human chain.
