In order to declare the Meherpur as drugs controlled district, Police Super organized a views exchange meeting with the local journalists today (18.02.2016) at District Police Office.
Hamidul Alam, Police Super presided over the opinion sharing meeting where Sheikh Mustafizur Rahmah, Assistant Police Super, Iqbal Bahar Chowdhury, Akram Hossain and Kazi Kamal, Officers-in-charge of Sadar, Gangni and Mujibnagar Police Stations respectively were present.
Police Super said that the drugs taker used to enter into darken world through drugs. If it is controlled, terrorists activities would be reduced to a great extent. He also said that Meherpur police would declare Meherpur as drugs controlled district on 1st March, 2016.
Almost all the journalists both the electronic and print medias of the district were attended the meeting.
